Privacy

The service is not live yet. This policy describes how Hindsight will handle data once it launches, pending Riot Games and Overwolf approval. Today the only thing collected is an email address, and only if you join the beta queue.

Short version: once the service exists, Hindsight will store the match data it reads for you through the Overwolf API and the reports produced from it, plus your email if you give it. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with advertisers, and you can delete all of it at any time.

What is collected

• Match data from the Overwolf API — the boards, units, items and gold state of your match, received through Overwolf's official game events while you play. Nothing is shown to you during the match; the data is used to build the report you read afterwards, and is stored so you can re-open past reports.
• Reports — the board data and simulation results. A report is private unless you create a share link for it.
• Your email — only if you join the beta queue or create an account. Used for the beta invite, service notices, and (if you opt in) the patch digest.
• Basic usage counts — how many reports were run, aggregated. Used to size servers and enforce the free-tier limit.

What is not collected

• No game memory reading, no client hooks, no injected code — match data arrives through Overwolf's official API, never by touching the game itself.
• No advice, overlay or notification during a match. The app is silent while you play; everything it has to say waits until the match is over.
• No Riot account credentials. Ever.
• No third-party advertising or tracking pixels; no data sold to anyone.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by an external payment processor acting as merchant of record. Card details never touch Hindsight's servers; Hindsight receives only the subscription status tied to your account.

Deleting your data

Account settings has a one-click delete for individual reports and for the whole account. Deleting the account removes stored match data, reports and your email within 30 days, including from backups. You can also email hello@hindsight.coach and it will be done by hand.
